| Or I don't know woes ;3
I've thought of my Yrie and managed to create a little bit different personality for her. Enne is already the household's simple block, honestly - she just collects wishes, takes care of them and the rest of the time she just sits on the chair, looks damn cute, munches cookies and says "Derp?". But for Yrie I wanted something different, so it's starting to look like she's precocious, spunky, slightly annoying, talks a lot and asks lots of questions and is quite pampered daddy's little girl. Also she's always well dressed in frills and princess dresses, I think Meital has too much time on her hands in Uncle K's household >_<
I've also thought of changing her name since Kuje...well, I dunno. So far the best one has been Yona which is Hebrew and means, well, uh, a dove. How CLEVER. But I like the name :3
Here's hoping Soom won't ship Yries until the end of January. I want my salary before I can release her from the evil hands of our custom office + I haven't got an official ID. Yes, I tossed accidentally my passport away when I moved and haven't managed to get a new one, and yes, it's been almost two months since this was noticed. I'm so fast, also, as well as clever :P

| I'm yet again thinking about finding a 70-80 cm male companion for Lotte. Luckily I haven't found any that'd be like "THAT's the one!!". Like all the Mecha Angel boys seem to have something in their face molds that I don't like. I've been also eyeing on DollShe boys again -___- Saint and Bernard are my favorite, but they have too small heads compared to Lotte's gigantic ball head! Rosen might be nice, but the DollShe boys seem to be too pricey. So, my money is safe for now ;) | |

| Me and my gang wish everyone happy holidays and may your days be filled with everything ending in 'olly. ^^ (quoted Pratchett in that haha). We have snow and the temperature is - 23 celcius, it is cold! I knitted a pullover for both of my boys I took with me. The pullovers turned out to be quite nice, tough the wool thread I used for knitting started to stink like lamb quite much after I finished knitting. x__x I just wonder why's that? Any tips for the lamb stink of the threads? Or do I just have to get used to it or wash the products? I know, lamb wool thread must smell like lamb a bit but does it have to smell that much. Anyway I'll take a picture of the boys later and try to add the pic in here. ^^ Tobias and Noah, they cute. =w= <3 | |

Have a merry one! I’m still alive, just terribly busy with real life, but now it’s time for the holidays <3
p.s. If anyone is ordering Soom’s new Ai and doesn’t need the special hands, please sell them to me ;D I missed our forum’s split and really wouldn’t want to go to DOA.

| Buh bye people, see you later! | |

| Me and V. are doing a Scary Movie Marathon! :D It all started with Paranormal Activity. It was V. how found it, we watched it and I realllly loved it, so I wanted MORE, more scary spooky creepy demons ghosts movies! I did a little research and here's what we're watching (the idea is to try to do one every day):
1. Rosemary's baby (check! 21.12.09) 2. Suspiria 3. Don't look now 4. Eraserhead 5. Yeogo goedam (Whispering corridors) 6. Ôdishon (Audition) 7. Ju-on (The Grudge) 8. Kairo (Pulse) 9. Gin gwai (The Eye) (check! 22.12.09) 10. The exorcist (check! 23.12.09) 11. Wicker Man 12. Mirrors 13. Drag me to hell
Any more recommendations, more spooky movies worth watching?? :) We've already watched before all original Ringos and remakes, Tale of Two Sisters, Dark Waters (both original and remake). Just a note though, I don't consider movies about sadist human torture to be "scary movies", in fact I cannot stand those and mostly find them to be bad taste, so no "cutting bodies with a chainsaw in a basement for fun" suggestions, ok? ;)

| Actually, he doesn't know what Christmas is. Since he's from Tyria, they have a Wintersday :) So he says he's wearing Dwayna's Wintersday hat! (I should totally play the Wintersday quests today...) | |

| Sini: ".... and then I kicked that imaginary dragon's imaginary ass!!" Jacinta: "Oh my..." ( Read more... )Girls got tights today, I've been meaning to make them for sooo long. My Nikon has been acting strange lately. The shutter lag was all unpredictable, sometimes it would take 5 seconds between me pressing the button and the shutter actually working. I've tried changing all kinds of settings, but it would still not work properly. Until today I tried taking lens off and putting it back and I think it finally solved it. | |

| 1. My Flickr paid account expired. I don't think I'm gonna renew. I got lost trying to organize everything with folders there long time ago. And I repost photos everywhere else anyway.
2. Got a revelation on how to fight the lazy in me a few days ago. I often get ideas of doing this and that, but then I start wonder what's the best way to go and I end up procrastinating and then my original idea gets old and I get another more exciting one, and so on. I never end up doing many things like this. So the trick it - less thinking, more doing. Got an idea? Just do it, even if you haven't figured out all the details of how you wanna go about it. And even if the final product ends up less perfect that you would have hoped for, at least it's THERE, and not just in your head.
3. I haven't done much with Jacinta, since she arrived and that worries me. I don't wanna end up selling her, because of lack of connection between us, and there's definitely a lack at the moment. I painted her, I made a dress for her, I tried photographing her a few times (no decent pictures came out). I gotta do something about it. It sounds like I'm trying to force myself to like her, but it's not really true. I know I like her and I know she has potential, she just arrived at a difficult time, when I couldn't enjoy her, and then came Mitsuko and took over everything ;)
4. I used to enjoy doing short doll photo stories and I really wanna do them again.
5. Don't know what to do with Kiwi (SO UI). She's the only one that didn't sell and I have VERY good price on her ($90 with face-up, wig and dress, while you can get her brand new bald, blank and naked for $109). Maybe it's a sign that I should keep her? She's adorable, excellent quality, and I like her a lot. She's just really reeeeally small.

| The dress is quite simple, but I love those light-weight fabrics on dolls. And it's RED, which is Xmas :D Sofa was a necessity. And I think I'll make one more. My dolls are usually on the shelf, except when I set one on my bedside table when I go to sleep. Or when I sew for them. And I figured I needed a proper place for them to sit in both those cases. So this sofa will probably be my bedside table sofa. And I'll make a smaller one for the sewing room. The blue fabric I used was from a bin and I think it's brilliant for doll furniture ;) Mitsuko is magical. Something about that doll... ( More photos ) | |

| Earlier when I was thinking about Kaarle's background, before I got it figured out, I was really thinking that I'd like to associate him with the Guild Wars worl, Tyria. Since there are all kinds of different creatures, I thought it would make sense that he is from Tyria. There grey skin and hooves instead of legs would totally make sense, no one would think that it's weird or something ;D So, the Death that Kaarle's dad pissed off: it's Grenth. Grenth is like the coolest god of Tyria, he is the god of death and ice after all! xD So, now you know that Kaarle is from Tyria. He has mentioned that where he lived, were much colder than here, so he must have lived in the Shiverpeaks. It's mostly populated by dwarves, but there are lots of other creatures too, like centaurs :) *will edit links to this, since I'm posting from flickr* EDIT: Okay, I so want to get him some Cuprit-style horns now x) | |

| I have that damn "Must buy something NOW"-urge again.. Maybe I just need some cheering up or something.. Last night (yes, in the middle of the night again) I ordered some cross-stitch yarns, because I'm planning on making this one flower design that requires a lot of different reds, yellows and greens, so I didn't want to just improvise with my current colors, since they might not look good on the final result.. But first I'm making this "Fairytale Princess" which I'm improvising with most of the colors xD Like I'm chaning the color of her dress from blue to lilac.. I also had to order some gold thread for that one, I thought I had some, but I only have metallic blue, red and green... Okay, no one is really interested in my cross-stitch talk, right? :P *makes this post just for the babble purpose* | |

| Neo. Actually I came across other cute name, Noah. :P So, I might have to change his name. I changed his name, Noah suits him better, I thought about it a lot while writing this. ^-^ I bought him a while ago but he now has the right wig and eyes. ^^ He is sooo cute! He is Walking With November Tommy with girls face up and boy body. Originally this set had a girl body but I'm glad I snatched this one with boy's, Tommy has always been more of a boy mold for me even tough he does make a really supercute girl too. ( Another one ) | |

| Reminder to all Finnish Terry Pratchett fans: Tomorrow from TV2 at 22:05 HOGFATHER! (Valkoparta Karjupukki, part 1) I was so hoping earlier that they'd show this since they showed Colour of Magic this year! YAY! | |

| Merry Chirstmas everyone! Kainoliero made a gingerbread house, so I put Madelaine in it and took some photos. :B | |

| It is soooo heavy. I thought I wouldn't be able to carry it into the house when DHL guy delivered it 2 days ago. 21 kilos. I did manage though. Yesterday it was pretty much all about cleaning and testing. I think I spent half of my Singer oil bottle on it, since it was the only thing I could come up with suitable for cleaning. I keep reading about kerosine, but I'm not sure where to get it... Besides, as far as I remember that stuff really stinks. Anyway, I didn't test the motor yet, because I'm waiting for the converter to come in mail. But I run it manually and I'm really loving it! :) It's gentle on thin fabric and I plan to buy extra bobbin cases and adjust the tension for different types of fabric (basically, I just need one extra for chiffon type of fabric and tricot, with looser lower thread). Loving all the manual settings, total control! Here's hoping the motor is fine! I might need to replace the light bulb though, it's looking kinda grey. Not even sure if it still works. I shaked it, and I THINK there's no loose wires inside, but it does look quite old and used. Still can't find any information about the machine online. I worked on similar kind before, so it was no problems threading it and opening it and cleaning it without a manual, but I'd still like to know something more about it. There's a word "FOREIGN" printed on the arm, but aside from that and logo that gets screwed on, there's no indications about the maker. The motor is Sew-Tric Ltd., London, made in England, and a little research showed that many times machines were imported to England from places like Japan, for example, and wired already on place. Looks like they've been named quite randomly, sometimes even after the shop that sold them. I might still look under the base for more clues later, if I dare to lift that thing again :D | |
