I've been quite busy lately, hence not much updates here. But to tell you some news at least; I bought, and received a Souseiseki head. I've had this itch for a loooong time at the back of my brain, that I'd like an SD Volks girl, but I haven't met any that'd move me particulary. I've never thought much of the Sui/Sou skulpt, infact, when it was released my first thought was 'boy, does someone looks swollen'. I never could have imagined the prettyness that lingered in the skulpt. The only conclusion I can make of this is that(wich have been proven so many times) Volks skulptors are geniouses(and my opinion of them and the company it self has been muchly changed since I first started this hobby), but their dolldesigners(outfit+face up) are mostly blind monkeys. Volks is a sad company with amazing sculptors and still they manage to fail, mostly. It's quite sad, actually, especially when you consider the amount of gorgeously customised Volks dolls on Y!J. Why don't Volks hire any of those angels to work for them? (They do have exceptions too, but this is all just generally speaking) Anyway, at that time I didn't consider Sui/Sou even remotely pretty, barely cute maybe, in a bloated kind of way.
I pretty much went from falling to receiving in two weeks. After seeing those two gorgeus girls on Doa I had this very strong 'that's my big girl!' -feeling. I got lucky, I found a seller who was selling her Souseki in a quite fair price(enough for me to handle even though I admit it was a lot for just for a head, but I wantes it! TmT A lot is to thank you for dollars week course) and was willing to split only the head for me. I've been thinking that actually this was a good thing to happen now, when there still are some available. Since who knows, they might end up like Shinku after a while. Anyways, long story short, here's my new girl, Oumi <3




I don't have musc extra SD sized stuff around, so she had to borrow Eden's eyes and body and Serafine's wig. Since I don't own a single pair of 20mm eyes(except for the default green/red pair that came with her<3 They're acrylic btw ._. I'm quite dissapointed actually, making them out of glass would've been classy, Volks) so she hast to settle for 18mm pair. Wich is too small for her. Luckily I just ordered her a wig from Dolga and lovely light blue 20mm eyes ^^ I hope they don't take too long to arrive. She needs a new face up too, the current one is comissioned by the previous owner and althoug it is made by a very talented artist and gorgeus in every way, I'm not keen on exactly that sugary sweet look on her. (I allready modified it a bit just to see what would be the best direction to go with the face up... This is probably my most challenging doll X3)
Oh yeah, does anyone on my f-list know anything about Volks numbering their limiteds? I'm interested of the '55' mark inside Oumi's head.

I'm also very exited for the little white Leila <3 Nenna will look sooo cute with a sister. I just need to come up with a good name for her. It should be something soft and cute, that kind of goes with Nenna... Aaand I ordered Morte's body. All this pretty much messed up my original plan, wich was to get Dagmar home ^^; But she'll definitely be the next one on the line. Maybe... from May's salary. Yup. Mmmm... my WU Cue... Then there's also the question of Oumi's body. But I guess that'll just be the question of right timing and situation on Doa's market place. That another funny thing, too. Now days I find the Volks SD10 girl body suprisingly appealing, compared to when I started and was very keen on mature bodies with thin waits and bust. I still like that look, but I've also started to really like the more realistic waist, of say, the SD10. I'd like her to have the s- or m- bust and with torso joint =w= Or then the Dollga girl body, wich is also very pretty, and apparently matches Volks pretty much perfectly.

Uh, that was suprisingly long dollentry from me, thankyous to anyone who bothered to read through it.

Oh yeah, now Mio is really on her way home. I'm excited to see her *^^*


Aa hell, now that I'm at it I could admit that I really want a certain Volks WS Doll, and I think I've tracked the mold down to Nana Sweet Dreams. Darn it.

Meet my B-El, Mordecai! Oh well, the face at least. I'll be getting him a body from the next boys preorder ^^ But here he is, borrowing a girls wig and body, in a dress even(!) But hi's man enough to pull it off. Poor thing. And yes, he does have a face up, you just can't see it. That's what you get from taking pictures at 10 PM XP I'll take the kind of that shows his face up tomorrow when there's light.

But without further a do, here my one and only boy!

I'm overwhelmingly happy that both Sigrun and the body for poor L-bi are on they're way home.
I'm still very eagerly waiting for the Unoa boys preorder to get Mordecai teh B-El.
I'm more than exited and terrified waiting the release of the Unoa Zero's, especially Marion... The rumor sais they'll be 07 and please, for god's sakes Mr. Araki, I can't afford four small Unoas and a 60cm one during the same year!! Then again... they'll be swamped with this girls preorder until November... So hopefully they won't bother with more dolls untill after that :P Though I am eager to get Mordecai... In the end, it's all up to AL, I just hope that when the time comes I'll have the monies ready.
Then I'm afraid Aino won't make it to Animecon T_T The moldrubber is taking too long to ship, I won't have time to finish her. *sigh*
I have a huge urge to skulpt something new... Like start the MSD girl. Maybe I will... But I should finish Poe first... Argh, why can't a day be longer X3
I started on making a homepage for CC. It should be ready soon :)
I still can't desice if I should take Elke to Tokyo. I want to, but it would be just stupid. So, how much do I want it?

Hum. Now I can worry these later, one by one. Right now I have a pile of heads demanding my undivided attention so please excuse me...
