But all in all, I'm really pleased with my order from Soom. I bought her knowing there'd by approx. half a year wait, they actually shipped her earlier than I expected/was told. They answered my messages pretty quickly, and I'm sure they'll fix the left leg issue with no problem.
I'm soooo happy I bought Amber ;u; Doesn't quite beat Oumi-happiness but close~

Conclusion: my camera seems to hate sunlight and overuse the blur.
(..because it wasn't even sunny. It's cloudy but it's not dark, and yet my camera goes all BURNBURNBUURRRNNNNN over the pictures even though the setting is the darkest possible.)

(I'm just a bit nervous about the fact that I have to pay the doll with a card right then and there, I'm so used to useing pp for dollpurchases x3;)

I bought some really light brown lovely furfabric I'm going to use for making an emergencywig for Nene, and then I'm sending the rest to a talented wigmaker if she agrees to make me some wigs of it *rolls over the silky furry fabric*

I might make a Crobidoll GO when I return, I need several wigs from them ;3; For Kiira, Nenna, Oumi, Claire and Rae at least. Maybe for renamed-to-be-fenyo and Nikki as well.
Also thinking I'll open Ida's eyes a bit. I'm slightly considering selling her, but only slightly. I love the white skin but they don't make very good twins with Nenna... So I'm going to open the eyes a bit and see what happens~ Also thinking about changing the face up *gasp!*

Oh plans, plans, plans are all I have right now~

I miss my dolls ;_; I want to make them clothes and take photographs of them. I want to make dresses and a jacket for Oumi.. And T-shirts and skirts for Kiira and Sofi. And I have this yern to make pretty matching dresses for Mio and Olivia and take pictures of them together. All in all I want to take more pitures of my dolls together.
I need to give Claire some lovely freckles and get her a dark dark brown wig. Or something red-ish I haven't desided. Kiira needs a nice wig too from Crobidoll.
I'm so exited to get back to make some clothes for Yisol... She'll be having some great changes indeed *rolls over the tatami in agony*
Gah I miss my sewing machine and airbrush(I bet I will MISS it with caps when Dagmar finally arrives %0 Oh! I figured how I will make all her dozen horns without having to attacth each and every one of them with magnets evertime, heheee). I feel so handicapped here, eventhough I love the country. Just three more months, then I shall free my dolls from their boxes again~
Poor things.

Oh well, I try to get over it and do something usefull instead. Like practising photographing. Maybe when I return I can do better justice for the beautifull skulpts I have.

It was the kind of time of the day when most people are at work/school/siesta so I encouraged myself to take Elke a bit futher than just the back yard. This is about... 10 meters from my house x3

Yes, pictursh~ This time I even tried something, like posing the doll, *gasp*. To tell you the truth, I'm not a very good photographer. I don't know the best angels, how to scale the pics, I'm not even that good poser(posing the doll that is), and I'm not any wizard with the camera by all means. But I've been trying to slowly to try a bigger range of things, not just 'place doll here, snap a pic of face with this mode, auto levels and slap it on the internetz.'
(It will be different when I move in the fall! I shall make nice backgrounds and all I swear.)

I ment to say this yesterday but it was so late when I posted I forgot..
A big thank you of the fact that my photos are so much better than three years ago goes to having a half-professional DSRL. Wich's features will go to waste if I don't learn to use it better.
Anyway, blahblah, but the point is that even if I don't mention it everytime(and if the picture clearly isn't just 'hey lookie a doll') I'm allways open to hear any critics you might think of ;u;
Anything that's ment as a good advise is welcome!
I mean it really, tell me how to improve please~ And this doesn't aply only to photos, but with anything I do, if you have any suggestions that something is a bit off or something is especially good, then please do tell.
I know some people don't care to get critics at all, but I'm allways pretty open to hear how I could improve.

Oh, one thing... I think the weather was a bit too bright for all the white because in the first set of pics everything burnt through... but I didn't want it all go to trash so *sigh*

But damn that tulleskirt took me over three hours to make! Such a simple little thing >_> The joys of sewing by hand... Luckily it came out pretty enough.

(Olivia would be the ms olive aka Rue. The name didn't really click in the right way so I changed it. I've planned a lot of other changes on my dolls too. I might write about it later...)

After seeing the Zeros at the Harajuku exhibition, I'm starting to think I'd prefer Latea over Marion after all. Well, there's plenty of time to think about that luckily.
